Juneau Projects
Join Juneau Projects to help create a zine (small publication) inspired by the objects and stories in the Cefn Mawr & District Museum.
Spend some time getting to know the museum’s collection through making illustrations and labels using collage, drawing, photography and graphic design. No experience needed – Phil and Ben from Juneau Projects will guide you through each step.
You’ll be able to take away a print of your creation and by the end of the day we’ll have a finished zine to give away and inspire other people!
The workshop is free and open to all ages – Phil and Ben are looking forward to meeting you!
Juneau Projects are Phil Duckworth and Ben Sadler, two artists based in Birmingham. They have worked together for over twenty years producing artworks in all shapes and sizes, from printed books to large outdoor sculptures.
Phil and Ben make their work in collaboration with other people, and they love the surprises that this way of working brings about. They are also really interested in how they can work with nature and technology in their artwork, and how these two things can be brought together.
